I love libraries.
There are several conditions I take seriously when looking for a place to live, and one of them is whether I can walk to a library, or, if I'm using a car, whether parking is easy. And on weekends I have a hobby of visiting libraries in different neighborhoods and 'spending my time there.'
One day I came across a book (sadly, I forgot to write down the title T_T),
and there was a passage that struck me so deeply that I'm leaving a photo I had saved in my album, along with the quote.
Most spaces in the world discriminate among their users.
Wealthy people live in nicer homes, frequent luxury hotels, and dine at expensive restaurants.
The cars they drive and the airline seats they sit in are different too.
Even at department stores, supermarkets, and hospitals, visitors are sorted by wealth.
But there are spaces that everyone uses equally.
Namely museums, art galleries, zoos, and libraries.
