Questioning and Hearing One's Own Nature (反聞聞自性)
Turn your hearing inward and listen to your own nature. Instead of chasing sounds in the external world, direct your attention to the source of awareness itself.
This practice — turning the light of awareness back upon itself — is one of the most profound teachings in Buddhist philosophy. When we stop looking outward for answers and instead investigate the nature of the one who is asking, we discover something remarkable.
The questioner and the answer are not separate. The seeker and what is sought are one. When we truly hear our own nature, all questions dissolve — not because they are answered, but because the one who was asking is finally understood.
