I had YouTube on as white noise while doing something else, and suddenly I felt that what the West calls phenomenology looks very similar to what Donguibogam is doing — so I'm leaving this note as a post.
Donguibogam is often thought of simply as a medical book because the keyword was made famous by the drama Heo Jun, but the word Donguibogam (東醫寶鑑) literally means "the theory and practice of Eastern medicine."
I have work tomorrow, so for now I'll just leave the sources that sparked the insight.. I'll write up the details later.
