Pretty soon, Google seems like it's going to shrink.
It might sound absurd, but Google's rise and growth also sounded absurd at the time.
Here's where this view starts. Online — especially in search — user "relevance" is changing.
In the past, what you wanted from search was a link. In other words, moving to a destination.
e.g., search -> browse -> discover
Today, what users want from search is a result. In other words, the search itself needs to enable payment, posting, and understanding.
e.g., search -> browse -> checkout
You can see this phenomenon at Stack Overflow, Reddit, Steemit, and Amazon.
Right?!
So, now what do I (or you) do?
