1)
Flowers do not bloom by the season.
In other words, it is not that flowers bloom because spring comes --
rather, spring comes because flowers bloom.
Only the flowers and trees that endured the lonely, desolate pain of autumn
and survived through the cold, barren, dark winter
are the ones that burst forth with new buds.
2)
Happiness is not about having adequate income and circumstances --
it is about being satisfied right now, in my current situation.
What is truly precious in life lies not in possessions
but in each passing moment:
knowing who you are.
Just because you gain awareness,
does the past me cease to be me?
That too is me, and this too is me.
Just because I want to learn more, or earn a higher salary,
does the present me cease to be me?
The me of right now can be the same as the me I aspire to be.
