Why the Smartphone Can Lead IT, Unlike the PDA Phone

The reason mobile smartphones now run our lives
is not — as we often hear in the media —
the expanded communication capabilities of the smartphone,
the variety of customizable apps and the app stores,
the right size and speed,
high resolution, DMB, all the smart functions, and so on — those are not the fundamental cause.

I used one too, of course.
Actor Cha Tae-hyun even did a TV ad for it, but many people don't even know it existed in the mainstream.
The real reason, for now, is that mobile devices are the only tool that closes the distance between thought and action.
It's not that "mobile" is what makes it possible.
Anything — whatever it is — that offers a platform where I can instantly realize the thought I want to act on, at least in some part,
could take the smartphone's current place at any time.
