Thoughts on fleshing out a new service idea
A set of thoughts, for a new service, on the process of aligning opinions among collaborators and fleshing out ideas,
mixed with things I felt and thought about while running the project — laid out below.
The main issues were:
parts where the direction must not be thrown off by an idea, internal communication among collaborators (understanding in the same sense), and — for interviews — tips and methods for writing questionnaires for interviews aimed at a new service rather than the improvement cases usually discussed in service design.
> Improvement scenario
Brainstorming -> scoping the area of the idea -> surveys (interviews) -> user/market analysis -> brainstorming
1st-round ideas aligning goals and purpose among collaborators FGI (in-depth) deriving needs / insights 2nd-round ideas
-> Fleshing out the prototype -> surveys (interviews) -> ...fleshing out BM, UI, etc.
setting the concept and main features feedback on features (not yet reached)
