Let me offer one analogy.
On the www,
HTML-CSS-JS existed since the 'back in my day' of each technology.
But,
until HTML5-CSS3-JS came along, the web was just so-so.
I think the next era will be the same.
There is no age of Blockchain? NFT? Coin?. And AI, metaverse, and whatever else are no different.
It's just that each has its own role, I think.
Blockchain — institution
Metaverse — service
AI cloud — infrastructure
May the age soon come when hands can clap together and feet can run in step..
Without waiting, without rashly trying to judge,
I just hope and prepare to be one person who can make a small positive contribution to the path by which that time arrives.
They say 'the left hand only guides'.. but even if it can't be a hand, a finger or even a fingernail is fine.
I only hope that my attitude won't turn into the grime under that fingernail.
