myR ( Smart Watch / Watch / Bracelet / ID Card )
: My focus narrowed from basic M2M down to the smart watch, and as I did, I wanted to step outside the cliché display-centric smart watch of the present (and likely near future) and concentrate on analog, primal functions (communication) — zeroing in on the most minimal, LESS-oriented things.
No matter how flexible displays get, I recognized the inherent limits of the display and, rather than pinning development on it, focused on the fundamental purpose (context).
So with the minimum necessary phone function, alternatives for sound delivery, and a clear awareness of the limits of tiny displays, I explored more fundamental solutions.

Insight
- Sound delivery using a Directed Audio Sound system rather than Bluetooth
(For the first iteration, though: detachable (Bluetooth) earphones)
- in body (items 1 and 2 are detachable)
1) Bracelet — measures pulse, body water content, etc.
2) Earring (earphone, second bracelet) — emotion, preferences, stress
- calls, music, device status
- Interoperates with most display devices
- Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, hotspot function
- (Phone function)
- Personal identification
=> Just by carrying the bracelet, no matter where you go or what device you use, you can solve issues of identity and security, and you can share or reuse those display devices.
You can make the home a smart platform and sync everything together. And through this, highly proactive personalization services (health, mood, payment, curation, etc.) become possible.
