Tesla is scheduled to unveil a new humanoid robot called 'Optimus' at the end of this month. He said this:
Today's cars are becoming smarter and more like wheeled robots connected to the web. In fact, when Tesla unveiled a general-purpose humanoid robot (Tesla Bot) in 2021, humanoid robots are becoming a reality, just like cars. The Tesla Bot is close to the height and weight of an adult, can lift heavy objects or walk quickly with small steps, and the screen on the front is an interactive interface for communicating with other people.
The reason for designing robots with legs is that human society is based on interaction with bipedal humanoids having two arms and ten fingers. Therefore, for a robot to adapt to the environment and do the things humans do, it must have roughly the same size, shape, and function as humans. The Tesla Bot was initially deployed to replace people in repetitive, boring, and dangerous tasks, but in the future the vision for this robot will be to serve millions of households with tasks like cooking, mowing the lawn, and caring for the elderly. A lot of change is happening, but still.. even so.. they're still stiff robots.. I had the thought that it will still take more time to get to the humanoids we see in TV shows.

Amid all this, a famous quote comes to mind..
Apple CEO Tim Cook said this at his MIT commencement address on the 9th:
I'm not worried about artificial intelligence giving computers the ability to think like humans, but I am worried about humans thinking like computers. (09:31)
