The era of social value.
: Too idealistic. The important thing for a company is
the pursuit of profit… can it work if the fundamentals
aren’t resolved?

Good Company = a company you want to work for.
A company you want to work for = a Good Company?
People are basically selfish. So why did they think that way? Why did they act that way?
Benevolent stewards.
- Active stewards (who step forward on their own).
- Passive stewards (today’s stewards).
Good employers.

* The old man living by the vacant lot vs the kids playing basketball.

→ the old man buys them drinks.
: Intrinsic and extrinsic motivation get swapped.
