Not a device
Things are much more like life objects, which have personality,sense,and life,not a device anymore
They are not simply things.
MAI exists (as being). Like a person it feels and is alive / it is no longer a machine.

They see, hear, and feel. They exchange conversations with each other, and sometimes through the conversations they share, we can gain useful information from them. Like raising an animal, or teaching and nurturing a person, they will grow little by little through us. They are no longer tin cans (machines) that move only on commands.
Less function
Things are less functional but more reactive for universe
Minimize the awareness of function
MAI will evolve around natural reactions rather than functions.

One caveat — 'minimizing function' here can be misread simply as minimizing technology-side functions such as the phone function, or the messaging function,.
To put it differently for clarity — it is a convergent object that feels divergent.
In other words, from the perception and usage side of the user it should feel as if there is almost no functional part, while the objects share and pass information among themselves to produce appropriate reactions. This is to deliver more efficient benefit to humans, and for that, the objects are given their own emotions and feelings.
Without differentiation
Things are much more affordable and easily accessible
It does not foster social discrimination.
Make it so that anyone can buy and easily use it.

MAI is not a toy for a few wealthy people. Anyone can buy it and anyone can use it. How could you ever buy a friend with money? Make it so that as many people as possible can be with MAI.

MAI could communicate each other with actual human senses and offers an fruitful information by themselves. It will be trained and developed like a pet animal, not be a stupid machine any more.

Things are less functional but more reactive for universe
Thing have minimized function, but can be more easily response to all the components of the universe.
MAI will be evolved from function-oriented to user reaction-oriented. It has lessen function in terms of user perception, which means getting close to user convenience and natural reaction.
MAI will evolve from a function-centered form to a user-reaction-centered form. It has minimized function on the user-perception side, which means moving closer to user convenience and natural reaction.
Without differentiation
Things are much more affordable and easily accessible.
MAI is not a luxurious toy for high class. Everybody can afford to buy and use it.
MAI is not a luxury toy for the upper class. Anyone can afford to buy and use it.
