Book | A Hands-On UX/UI Guide That Captivates Users (a "Wide-Shallow" version for UX/UI?!)

Last year I felt I had only studied dev-heavy things like blockchain, machine learning, and deep learning, so I thought I needed to update on the planning?.. design interface side too. While researching related keywords, I came across a community called from design.

After joining the group chat, seeing that over a thousand members are online at any given time, watching the real-time Q&A, and the constant stream of newly shared info, I thought — ah! I found it.

Then a study-group announcement came up, and to join it I bought and read the relevant book. The one I ended up reading, A Hands-On UX/UI Guide That Captivates Users, turned out to be a very usable practical book.

"Good book"? I think "a book I'm grateful for" fits better. I could read it while looking back on past days. And I got to very carefully update my understanding of how various concepts have been newly? defined since.

The book itself has good usability. It bends well, so it's good to take outside on nice-weather days while you walk, or to read on your commute in little gaps.

The difficulty is easy but not lightweight — it lists key keywords and related professional books (or sources), so I think it'd be great to keep on your desk and use like a navigation aid (or a bookmark collection). A metaphor just popped into my head.. it feels like a UXUI-version of "A Wide Shallow Knowledge" (Ji-Dae-Neol-Yat). Hmm.. that's a pretty spot-on metaphor hahaha, so I'm changing this post's title to match lol.
