2021: A Record of Day-Job-by-Day, Coding-by-Night

Been a while on 티스토리.

Ever since I started using Notion, I haven't used 티스토리 much. There are pros and cons, but.. honestly.. barring something unusual... I might go over to GitLab, but returning to 티스토리 seems unlikely. 티스토리 will probably just serve as a place to drop private ideas or deeply personal diary-like entries now and then.

Forty, in full binge-mode: day job by day, study by night.

In 2021 I took classes (via Zoom) related to AI (advanced) and blockchain (Hyperledger) development. Two dev courses and one planning course for AI, and two sessions of a private-blockchain course for blockchain. Each course ran about 120 hours on average.. and went from 7pm to 10~11pm after work. The hardest part was.. laundry and dishes.. and I think I put on some weight because I had almost no time to exercise.. Most courses had a final project, so for the last 10 months or so I lived in a state of permanent fatigue.. but thanks to that, I earned a certification (Level 2, Korean Standards Association). And in the AI planning course that ran for two months in November and December — the very last one — I won 1st place in the final project.

Through these courses I learned YOLO V5, the GPT series, and PyTorch Lightning, and in the process of trying to deploy a deep-learning artifact as a service I discovered fastAPI — such a happy, exciting stretch of time. And in 2022 I plan to study the newly? updated Flutter. I'm already so excited~

The 2021 record

- New things to learn: Dart (https://dart.dev), Flutter 2.8.1 (https://docs.flutter.dev, https://github.com/flutter)
